Intermediate Sewing & Pattern Making Classes

Our Short Tailoring Courses London are suitable for you, if are a confident sewer who has have been sewing for a while but you are presently considering sewing more professional garments. Or perhaps you want to start your own fashion line and you require very specific help with garment construction and more appropriate high end finishing.

At this point in your sewing journey, you should be able to with complex types of fabrics and styles.

In order to benefit from this course, you should have more than a few hours of sewing under your belt. You should have attempted garment making using a commercial pattern. You should also have attempted to make a few tops and blouses as well. This experience will facilitate your learning and would make understanding a lot easier.

We will introduce you to the skills involved in pattern drafting, focusing on a classic tailored shirt. You will be learning basic cutting techniques for garments in general. You will need to have basic sewing skills and be well acquainted with your sewing machine.
