Do you fancy making your own curtains because you have an odd shaped window, or you can’t find anything you like? This is the course for you. You will be able to make curtains from fabrics you adore in the measurements that suit you too. What you will be learning in this class is how to make pleated, lined curtains.

In this 4 hour session you will learn how;

  • To measure your windows.
  • To calculate the amount of fabric required
  • To select the right fabric (outer fabric and lining)
  • To cut your fabric and lining
  • To sew the fabrics together
  • Attach the header tape

At the end of this class, you will have sewn a sample lined curtain with hand pleated heading measuring 75cm x 50cm

You will also be leaving with detailed instructions on how to carry out this project at home.
